When the throttle is opened, pulling away or cruising the speedo and odometer do not register. The needle stays at zero and the Km remain on the last digits. As soon as the throttle is closed every thing works. Where do I start looking and what do I do to fix.

Whats the latest news about Malawi, are the riots and fuel causing havoc? Leaving in a weeks time via Bots and Zambia for Malawi.

Can the fuel pump for the DL650 which is inside the tank be thrown out and replaced with an external pump? If so what pump, serial number, make, which outlet (Midas, Autozone etc.) The price of a new unit is R7- R10 thousand  :'(
