    BMW Tool kit

Howzit. I'm really wondering what the baking powder could possibly be used for, besides the obvious. There has to be a plausible reason dude! Otherwise, the kit is well stocked and will be much cheaper than the ready made kits.

Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes: Which brands are best and where to get in Cape Town

Experement by patching a new unpunctured tube with what you have before heading off on a trip. Atleast there will be no suprises when you do need to repair a tube. Carry a standard tube as backup as this one can always be patched.

    Steering head bearing

My 800's steering has a notch at dead center. Bike has done 25k km or so. Is replacement of the bearings the correct way to repair this or is there an alternative way? This doesnt seem to be a common problem but has anyone else had it? How did you repair? Thanks

Dead F800... We were returning from a cool ride around the Parys dome area and close to Lenasia. Everything was perfect and I was styling through the mud like a rockstar raving to myself how wonderful the bike was going. We stopped for a few minutes to speak kark and then the kark started. Mitas or TKC80

What about both? TKC front and E07 rear. I really like the E07 rear and it is wearing really well. The front seems to be wearing a lot faster than I anticipated. By my calculation, the TKC rear was costing me about 30c/km..
