Hi Guys, I have overfilled the oil in my 990 with about 1 cm above the MAX mark on the dipstick. Any cause for concern as I really don't want to have to drain the oil? I have not ridden it since. Was planning to do a trip to the shops.
I have an intermittent fuel leak on startup. When I get to work about 10 km's from where I live, the leak has stopped. Any suggestions? Can't handle KTM dealership in these hard times :-\
Just want to know whether the roads are muddy in Cederberg this time of the year? Excuse me if it sounds like a stupid question to some but I haven't ever been there this time of the year.
Sadly have to sell my 990. 65 000 km on the clock. Full service history with KTM Cape Town. Leo Vince SBK pipes, panniers, top box and lots of other extras. Can't seem to upload photos. Send email address and I shall send.
I drove to Cape Town yesterday in peak hour traffic. 4 so-called adventure bikes passed me with the right bottom side of the number plate broken off over the last 2 or so numbers. Some coincidence or is it just a sign of how stuff the law SA society has become?
My 2010 KTM 990 Adventure is for sale. Full house. Handle bar raisers, 2 finger levers, SBK Leo VInce pipes, 3 panniers, top box with full service history at KTM Cape Town. 63 000 km - R 85 000

I have a 2010 990 adv. It was cold recently and the bike did not want to start. Jumped it from a car battery and put it on a optimate overnight. Started. Then it again refused to start in the morning but now even refuses to start even with a jump from a good battery. The motor swungs once and...

My 2008 KLR, owned since new, has 75000 km on clock in good condition with the following:

New sprockets and chain;

I just had the fork oil changed. Now it makes a prominent clicking noise when you compress the shocks even only a little bit. I can actually feel it in the handle bars. When I asked the technician who done the oil change, who is a member of this site, he said it is normal because of the...
