I will definitely be riding two up (plus extra stuff) from time to time, so then I guess the 800 is a no-go. I just took both the 800GS and 1200GSAdv for a test drive. I don't like the 800, to windy... and it felt "loose" on the road. I even have less wind on my DrBIG. The 1200 I have to admit...

Hmmm... that makes me wonder, so then the R would be better if I want to lift (weight wise, carrying double, +tent etc.)... Then I guess my only concern is the ABS. Should it be? My bike don't have it at the moment. Would it be possible to add it at a later stage?

;D I take it you have the S/R And what about the ABS? Do you do a lot of technical riding? Will the "base-model" be more restricted, or not really?
