When I put my bike on the centre stand, put it in neutral and roll the wheel forward with my handat a constant speed, the chain seems to slacken, and then pull tight, and then slacken and so on...almost as if the front sprocket would have been a oval shape, but obviously that's not the case...

What is the best way of removing the rear shock? Do you need to take of the fuel tank? I have to get the shock serviced, but apparently removing it is not as simple as unbolting it, because it seems that access to the bolts is very limited...or so I read? Any advice
