This past weekend reminded me why this remains one of my favourite bikes. On my way back from a hike up the Krakdouw pass in Heuningvlei near Wupperthal, I took the long way back to Hermanus on Sunday via Uitspankraal and the Tankwa highway.

KLR is in very reliable condition at the moment. I prepped it for a Kaokoland trip which were going to happen in April 2020. Needless to say, Corona happened... And then our baby girl arrived... so one of the two bikes have to go to make a bit of space. 1150GS or KLR. I’ve put both up for sale...
