They cost crazy money - and getting worse, but think at a minimum a hospital plan is a 'must have' in SA... more so if commuting by bike. Even if you get the cheapest hospital plan, it can make a huge difference to the care you will receive. Take it easy & charge more for lectures!  >:D

Ok, so after my Tokolosh method of putting the bike on the centre stand worked for a few weeks... I finally have the final, final, real answer to this problem. Should have listened to kaalkoejawel from the start, - it was the steering head bearings.  :deal: See attached.

Yes thnx, did that during my troubleshooting, did not seem to help. Putting on the centre stand for 2 days somehow sorted it. Weird!

Just an update here, after I thought it was sorted by bleeding air from the forks, it got progressively worse and bleeding no longer helped. Then coincidentally I had the bike up on the centre stand for two days, since then it's 100% again. Makes me think it's somehow related to the rear...

Also prefer a bit looser than too tight. Even slightly too tight wears the components down really quick. Just like to make sure it's not loose that it could come of, with potentially fatal consequence.

Figured this out now, solution was in bleeding the air out of the fork. Strangely this fixed the problem, - all back to normal.  :thumleft:

Montana looks really good... it's quite a price tag though. By the time I'm finished it's nearly 8k with all the extra bits & pieces. Can I somehow use my maps from my stolen Quest or do I need to buy from scratch?
