So I managed to put the grand total of 550 km on the bike before the first screw (together with a little rubber spacer) vibrated loose and fell off somewhere on the N2 this afternoon.  :P Who can tell me which bolts/screws specifically I should keep an eye on? The ones that are prone to this...

I'm thinking of buying a new KLR 650, but the dealer doesn't have a demo model. Any chance of someone in Somerset West having one I can take for a short test ride before taking the plunge...?

Full service history by BMW. Mechanically perfect, except for a broken heated grip switch - available second hand for about 1k. The bike has been used as intended, hence a few scars and scratches. Some dents on the silencer. Also included are the following; • Enduristan tank bag • Excel...

I'm talking about the one with the switch for the heated grips. I can get a unit from but ACME but was hoping someone else has one lying around....for whatever reason.

I'm looking for a used tankbag with one of those map windows on top. The window needs to be big enough to fit the A5 sheet of rally instructions for the Amageza. I figure if I'm gonna spend money it might as well be on something I can use again. Does something like that exist?

I'm contemplating taking the afternoon off and going to Atlantis via the quarry/railroad. Was thinking 15:30 tomorrow at Zone 7 - if I can find someone to ride with. So who doesn't feel like work?
