I have a BMC filter on my 650 for a year now,works well, not a lot of difference in performance though . Cost about R1200 factory filters are around 600 a throw . So the lifetime filter makes sense.
Transalp is a go anywhere do anything kinda bike . Will do approx 16km/litre . Mine has custom airfilter BMC and exhaust on .
Very reliable . Put sprocket on with two teeth less for open road cruising . For one person and baggage excellent.
Nice report . I have had my TA for four years now and am of the same opinion . There is nothing in the immediate vicinity that is so much better to warrant the extra bucks. Like to hear about the front suspension upgrade. Struggling for parts in the lowveld.
