Yes, that was exactly what was happening. Only when riding with a pillion did the clutch slip when accelarting, usually in high gears. Year model was a 2010. Will a new clutch fix this?

Hi, I recently had to replace the clutch on my 800GS. The thing is I have only done 23 000km and don't abuse the bike (too much). I always use the clutch lever when gearing. The Lyndhurst mechanic couldn't give me a plausible reason for the failure other than to blame the 30mm handle bar...

I don't experience a rattling noise. My brakes are quiet. I did get charged R80 odd bucks in the last service for something they said is a remedy for a squeaky noise?? I just though the brake pads and disk was dirty. Early 2010 model.

Last month my headlamp blew. At the same time the left heated grip also fried, both at the same time: bike was standing in the shade, next time I turned the ignition they where broken. So the grip was fixed under warranty (..I replaced the bulb..). Yesterday the same thing: headlamp works...

Sounds like a conspiracy but my left heated grip also stopped working. Any ideas? (F800GS) What makes the left heated grip so special that everyone has problems with it. Side note: at exactly the same time the headed grip stopped working the high beam globe popped, coincidence?
