Thanks gentlemen? Being a genuine newbie I'll let discretion rule my planning and do the pass "down" first and then depending on the degree of success maybe turn around and try the "UP". Some great route suggestions ...... when?! the "lockdown" fades into the sunset.

In the process of planning a circular route through Lesotho, either UP Sani Pass or DOWN. Interested in opinions as to whether the UP or DOWN is more challenging/ difficult.

You are absolutely correct  ;D Did a few but really good long trips ....really enjoyed the bike

So here's my problem ..... recently retired with time on my hands to ride and in the past always chose to ride solo. Did Sani, Baviaans The Baster The Hell.etc. so I don't consider my self an absolute newbie. I feel now that it is wiser to ride with a partner or two who share my ride...

First and foremost .....an Adventurest SPIRIT, someone who goes off the beaten track and is prepared to put his "Whatever skills/  abilities" to the TEST. Bike has just over 10,000 Kms. and doohickey done otherwise stock standard. Bought for a Malawi dream trip that never materialised. Obviously not being ridden enough and in storage, No accident damage. Includes Kaoko saddle bags and tank bag. Thinking R25,000.00. Unable to download photos at...

Not the prettiest BUT what a bargain ...... seriously good quality ....and strong. Would have bought them without thinking but already have a set of the SAME!!!!
