Kaspaas, measure between the white wires coming from the stator, or measure in the plug that you unplugged from the rectifier. You measure AC volts between the white wires. Should be around 50V for the three readings. Make sure that they are all within the same range. If one of them is much...

So dag of twee en R1100 later is hy weer oppie...

    The Super Tenere 750 thread

Checked on supertenere.net last night and seems like all heavy fuel consumption, stuttering at low revs and misfire problems can be traced back in some way to the needles and emulsion tubes. Still, a good cleaning can only eliminate problems, so that is a good idea to start cleaning them...

Sounds like a plan, Fidel's shop is close to me, in Stikland if I remember correctly, will see if I can pop in there somewhere this week and get a quote from them. Thinking of replacing both while I'm at it.

Thanks super10, checked their website, bit confusing but I think I found the tubes, just can't seem to find the needles. Anyhow will keep looking, I'm also convinced to go with the factorypro tubes, nickel plated should last longer than the standard OEM, but would probably wear out the standard...

thanks sup10, another question, whould it not be wise to replace the needles as well? Since I'll have to take the carbs apart anyway? What did your emulsion tubes cost and how long for delivery?
