Grin101, here are the pics you asked for. The brakes worked 100% but they look shot, you can still take them if you want. The chain is longer than standard because of the sprockets, so they must go together.

So I've looked at second hand motors, even SV motors and it turns out that it will be be economical to repair.  I got it for cheap 3 years ago and even motors are too expensive to justify. I'll be breaking the DL for parts and upgrading to a GS Adventure probably...  Hopefully the finance...
