I would say if you have to do it on the road you could, special tool required to remove the left hand threaded nut that tightens everything together, this releases the "shaft gear" onto which the seal fits, the seal just pushes on. I guess you could in desperation use a hammer & punch to loosen...

Hi Everyone, anybody experiencing problems with their rear shaft seal, mine has gone! Rumors are that if you do a lot of off road, this seal is liable to wear, it appears as if mine was not fitted properly and has worn a groove in the gear it fits over, only 13000k's on the bike! I know of one...

Also run a scorch on my S10, beeeaauutiful!! Just a thought on the safety side, loud pipes makes you heard!!

It depends strongly whether the bike I am looking for is still available, then if someone is interested in my bike the final decision will have to be made, not an easy decision? i ride a lot with the road bike clan here in port alfred as well, the 950 will not be as comfortable as the S10...
