After the EC bash last in May I realised that at my advanced age, as much as I love her, I have to go for a lighter, smaller bike such as a 650 something....or maybe I should be realistic and downscale to a GS 1200 and hit the long road! :imaposer: only kidding...love the GS 12.
She is well serviced, mechanically very sound...just had the 50 000 major and when ever something needs attention, it gets sorted.
If you are looking for a pristine 990 that hasn't seen dirt or isn't scratched.....this ain't your bike...
Full of EC Cape Baviaans dirt...she is expensive. Fully washed, the price is negotiable.
what you say? Comments please.....
plenty more pics and info.
The rear end shot shows the powdercoated Wilddog luggage base plate (35x30cm) and the old TRAX side luggage framework. Very strong and sturdy. Bike comes with OLD Alpos aluminium side panniers.
Crash bar picture shows the SW Motech bars with a limited edition deep scratch on the tank :-[
Normal issue....
SW Motech crash bars.
New OEM hand gaurds
Leo Vince SBK Pipes (with Baffles ;D) still sound ultra sweet
Reconditioned the clutch hydraulics i.e. new Oberon slave cylinder etc
Touratech lifting handle.
Led daylight running spots...very bright.
New HID and Ballast.
Luggage WD plate (veri-nice) :thumleft: Boppa anything onto it.
For the short guys like me.....lowered seat!!! By Dinesh in Cape Town...did a great job.
New Capra X front fitted 3 weeks ago
she pulls like a steam train
