It is just amazing how one struggles with utmost frustration to get a booking in the Kgalagadi TP even 12 months in advance. The bookings open for the next year June/July 24 school holidays and the park is full within 3 days. Eventually got a booking reserved but what a mission together with lots and lots and much more patience.
Cannot understand why all the provinces school holidays falls on the same time. In the old days each province had there own holiday bracket with a marginal overlapping with each other. My opinion is that the economy will be boosted for longer periods this way and one can at least get a booking at your favorite holiday destination. This government just do not understand life.......
But not to moan, eventually got the booking and looking forward to 12 days in the wilderness.
