I have Garmap SA Topo 2012.3 NT on my Navigator V. When I copy routes onto it from Base Camp, some of them have major errors e.g. a route that is 300 km on Base Camp shows as 800 km on Nav V , because it has selected some random point way off the desired route. This does not happen with all routes e.g. currently 2 out of 4 are OK. When I convert the problematic routes on Base Camp to tracks and then import them as tracks onto the Nav V, the routes are 99% the same as Base Camp. (I convert the tracks on the Nav V to routes once downloaded onto the device.
Anyone know the cause of the problem and the fix without having to do the Routes > Tracks > Routes thing?
