I built my R1100S as a project and to use as an alternative for commuting to the office.
COVID however forced me to work from home, so now I rarely use the bike and am considering selling it.

It is ideal as a Sunday breakfast bike of for a project to fiddle on ...

The bike is based on a

1998 BMW R1100S
Van der Linde exhausts
5.5 inch wide Boxer Cup Replica rear wheel
No heated grips or ABS
134,000 kms

Fitted a 1978 R100RS fairing with new screen including the original clock and volt meter
R1100R tank
New battery
New handle bar switches
New brake pads front and rear

I have done 10002000km since the build and it is running fine
