Red and myself are busy planning a trip to Botswana end of April, beginning May next year. Intention is to cross Ellisras area to Palapye (Tswapong Hills) and do some exploring there. From there end up at Chobe. Question what is the situation with bikes in the Bots game reserves, allowed, not allowed? If not probably via Nata else Rakops. Don't think we'll tackle the Pans, probably still to wet for the bikes. From Chobe ferry to Zambia and to Vic Falls (Zim is a rip-off). Back via Chobe to the Liambezi and fm there to Epupa Falls. Fm there to Tshodilo Hills, then to Drotsky's Caves and after that hit the long road home via Ghanzi. The group will be mixed 1200GS and 650 GS and Dakar, with Land Rover as support vehicle, at this stage it seems the male/female ratio will be 30/70. Questions at this stage:
Recommended camp sites, unofficial (open) and official (commercial).
Places to visit/see.
Any general recommendations.
