By default, I guess that means old people....
Question. Standard 2t slide carb. The main jet feeds fuel through the emulsion tube and the needle seat / jet into the venturi.
The needle and seat / jet controls mixture roughly for the middle third of throttle travel. Main jet size then controls the mixture from there to WOT.
If one increased the size of the main jet, but left all else unchanged (ie. same needle at the same height setting), would this also richen the mixture for the middle third of the throttle travel?
My intuition is really "fence sitting" on this one - half mind says "yes" and the other half saying "no".
THoughts?
