Durban to JHB - Need a lekker route

Im collecting a BMW F800GS that I''m buying in Durban on Saturday, and need a lekker route back. Perhaps not too much gravel as I do not want to ride back more than 9 hours of riding.

Will be leaving Durbs anywhere from 2pm ish, and would prefer not riding after sunset, so must be at an overnight stop by then.

Any suggestions on route, possible overnight town or guesthouse etc.
