I Took a ride up Signal Hill to grab a bite today, bumped into these fellas - Cape Sidecar Adventures, a group of ballies who take tourists out for cruises around the Cape, the owner has 20 of these babies in various guises, some still in military garb with deactivated machine guns, they are apparently ex Chinese Red Army bikes, the engine designs were stolen from BMW by the Russians which then made their way to the Chinese. Some come with solid axles between the rear wheels which makes them 2WD and they come with brakes on the buggy wheel which they remove as the bikes turn when braking, they add double disc brakes in front.
Lekker bunch of toppies who are very keen to bend ones ear.
