Looking for a fun and rewarding Toy Run to support, then join the Friends of DeWildt Toy Run on the 13 December 2014.
Meet opposite the Old Police Station at around 6.30am, later if you are not an early morning person. (Someone please can you add the GPS co-ordinates)
Usually there are a few bakkie loads of gift and food parcels that need to be distributed amongst the local folk whose back yard we ride through.
Bring your own contribution along if you'd like to, a gift, a food hamper or toiletries or whatever you'd like to give.
Remember these folk have very little and are grateful for whatever they receive, the best part is that you hand the person a gift, not throw it in on a pile to see "how many tons of teddies" were collected and then never to know what happens to the goods thereafter.
Once all has been distributed, there are guys who will lead rides in the area that are suitable for whatever you ride, there will be a ride for fast plastics, rides for cautious plastics and a sensible route for guys who want to ride their adventure tourers.
If you are an old DeWildt rider you'll know how magic the rides can be in the area.
