I have set my favorites to show fuel distance as a priority , and also have kilos per lt on same screen . important to me , most of the time the it says I ca do around 420 kilos on a tank , and my consumption 19.2 k per lt , but in actual fact i recon i am running around the 15k per lt mark . This return is 2 up with panniers and top box .
what is the general fuel consumption on a 1190? and what should one get on a tank of fuel ? I have also noticed that if its filled to the brim , shake shake to get all the air out , trip comp , comes up with a fi=uel distance of 450ks but I need to top up around the 250 mark , down to the last 2 bars on the fuel gauge , Could also be a precaution in that with tow bars , one can do a easy 150 ks more or less .
