Anyone keen for Harties canals and Breedtsnek run this coming Saturday? The weather is looking a bit non-bike friendly, but predictions have been all over the place the last couple of weeks, maybe we get lucky and it rains just enough to settle the dust and give us a puddle or two along the way where we can boast about amazing water-crossings and super-human like riding skills.
I’m keen for an early 0700 start from Umfala Engen, meander along the canals towards Mooinooi, cross over Breedtsnek and make my way towards van Gaalens. This should have me back home in time for family & braai commitments, keeping my weekend pass to ride another day. Also open to suggestions.
