Hi lads,
I'm going to Katima Mulilo in May and June to help family out at their BnB.
All my family who have previously visited flew there.
Me, I'm going by :ricky: .
The question is which bike do i take. ???
I have an F650GS with a beeg top box and room for a bag on the seat.
Or my BM K1100RS with more luggage space than I'll ever need ;D
I'm not planning on dirt roads, the K1100 has been to Kasane and Vic Falls via Kasane before.
It was a bit of a hassle getting her down a couple of sand roads to a lodge or two.
And she is much more comfy to ride on a long trip than the F650.
When I'm at Katima I'll possibly take a trip to Livingstone, Vic Falls, Kasane, and back to Katima.
Has anyone recently been down the A33 / B8 from Kasane to Katima, and the M10 from Katima to Livingstone.
Are they OK for my fekkin great lump of a K1100 ?
I would love to go over the ferry at kasane, but i think the road could be a little too much for the K1100.
