As a (brand) new member I understand the concerns regarding the use of this forum just for selling stuff. But like I said in my introduction I really do
think that this forum will be able to add value for me, even if I don't post regularly. I only started riding a year ago and decided to buy the Versys as my first bike.
I also looked at the KLR (and joined KLR Clan) but the V is such a good looking bike and Kawasaki had the 2014 on special for R72500 at that time so I went for it.
About 2 months ago I bought the F800 cause I found the Versys makes me tired on longer trips (I'm 1.92m tall), it's just a little too cramped for me.
I don't think its necessary to explain the capabilities, I can say I really enjoyed the bike, for commuting and weekend trips I think it is perfect.
Anyway here's the details and pictures:
Bike has 8300km on the clock, only had the 1000km service, I will do the service at the dealer for the buyer.
I got a puncture on the front tire at about 7000km, and put a brand new one on.
Never dropped the bike.
It's still financed so I'd like to get as close to settlement value as possible.
Price: R56 000 but willing to negotiate (when I look at gumtree/ OLX the prices vary between R60k - R66k)
