Bought both of these for my 690 which I've now sold - never used either, both still in packaging.
The shock collar didn't fit my bike (2009 onwards - doesn't fit 2008 bikes). Original has a thin thread which can strip if adjusted under load.
The sidestand dummy plug I always took on trips but never fitted - kept it as backup. Mate of mine had to abandon a trip in Angola because the good folks in Austria decided to include some or other resister which doesn't let you short the wires if you damage the side stand switch. Go figure.
