The Lowveld Dual Bike Adventure (LDBA) has become a household name in Adventure Biking in SA over the past 3 years and I believe the success is due to the spectacular - and scenic routes of the Mpumalanga Lowveld and the support of all our sponsors and participants.
RAD Moto has confirmed to be our main sponsor again this year. We would like to thank Dave Griffin and his staff for believing in this event and for all their support. We look forward to be POWERED by RAD!
This is the only event in Mpumalanga that caters for all makes of bikes that are registered on the road and we offer technical and non-technical gravel routes that are therefore also pillion-friendly.
Stage 1: Annual LDBA at Bundu Country Lodge: 5-7 June 2015
Bundu seemed to very popular amongst the riders and therefor Bundu will be our venue again for 2015! See registration details for more info.
Stage 2: The Prawn Run: 7-9 June 2015
The Prawn Run was according to some guys, the hightlight of their LDBA. We can accommodate up to 40 riders with two routes taking us to the island of Macaneta. The venue will change this year and will be confirmed by 1 March after a recce.
Should you wish to enter only for stage 2 - then this can only be done from 1 May 2015 in order to give Stage 1 entrants first priority to enter.
Guests at LDBA
We are excited to have Wessel Bosman as one of our special guests at Stage 1. Wessel did not finish the Dakar but he has a hell of story to tell on how he managed to qualify and his adventure during the DAKAR. Riaan van Niekerk may possibly also attend.
We might have a very special guest for Stage 2, Macaneta. As a previous DAKAR podium finisher we might just learn a trick or two on the sand at Macaneta. This is a surprise and will only be confirmed later.
