Planning a trip from KZN to die Hel and back in 9 riding days - Advice please

Hi all

I am planning the following ride in late December,  and incidentally will be opening the invite to anyone interested on this forum.
For those who have experience in this part of the country, please share places of interest, affordable accommodation / camping sites or route deviations for whatever reason.

1. PMB - Maclear, 387km
2. Maclear - Hogsback, 353km (Bastervoetslann pass ascending E - W)
3. Hogsback - Patensie, 392km
4. Patensie - Willomore, 193km (Baviaans)
5. Willomore - Die Hel, 224km (Gamkaskloof)
6. Die Hel - Graaf-Reinet, 373km
7. Graaf-Reinet - Barkly East, 480km
8. Barkly East - Rhodes, 256km (via Joubert's Pass, Londien's Nek & Wartrail)
9. Rhodes - PMB, 435km
Total Distance 3,093km.  I will probably allocate a rest day somewhere.
