Quality riding gear - where?

My mix of Klim and Hein Gericke jackets and pants is nearing the end after about twenty years of riding. If I replace it with gear of similar quality it will outlive my adventure riding career which I doubt has twenty years left.

The problem is that most of the local suppliers seem to be selling cheap and cheerful kit, and importing gear is a risk as you cannot try it on first.

I am not trying to buy the most expensive, very best gear, nor get ripped off, but simply want to buy good quality riding gear at a fair price which is durable and effective at weather and fall protection.

Does anybody have a suggestion as to where to shop, or where to import?
