Have we got something really special for you coming up in October... The 3rd Rallye Raid event this year!
The Rallye Raid Sea to Ski Adventure ride will take you on a journey from Sea Level at the Haven Hotel on the Wild Coast, to the Tiffendale Ski Resort some 7500 feet higher in the Lesotho Mountains. You are guaranteed not only some of the greatest adventure bike riding in RSA but the event will be combined with viewing of the toughest Extreme Enduro challenge, namely Sea to Ski.
Sea to Ski is a multi-day dirt bike team stage race where teams of 2 riders and a back-up driver will attempt to hold it together and tame the torturous and unrelenting terrain. This is certainly “the Camel Trophy of bike events”!
The Rallye Raid portion of this event will run side by side but along a separate and much less demanding route, intersecting the extreme enduro at the overnight bivouac, lunch stops and most spectacular vantage points where we will be able to witness first-hand the carnage unfolding in front of your eyes!
We will each sleep in our own large 3 man tents for 4 nights, sharing the same bivouac as the Enduro competitors and be able to experience what it takes to complete such an arduous event such as Sea to Ski.
All of this will make this an event not to be missed. Entries are limited to 50 riders per batch. The 1st batch starts on the Fri 3rd Oct and the 2nd batch a day later on Sat 4th Oct. Both routes are identical .Note: Due to the fact we are running 2 separate batches, the start date stated below is for the first batch and the end date is for the second batch. Each batch spans 3 days and 4 nights.

RAD Adventure will be aiming to be in the first batch of riders thereby finishing the event on the 5th of October and heading home on Monday the 6th.
Entry into this event is R 3,850.00 and includes all meals, your tent, which will be erected at each location for you and event back up from the RAD Moto Assistance Crew.
Itinerary:
The plan is to get down to Barkley East (however you decide but we’ll be towing) on Thursday the 2nd October, off load cars and trailers and then shoot down to The Haven just below Coffee bay for the start of Rallye Raid Sea to Ski .From Friday the 3rd we will leave The Haven and travel alongside the route enjoying the scenery and racing for 3 days via Clarkebury Mission, Maclear and all the way to the finish at Tiffendale for the last night. On the 6th October we will then head back down the mountain to Barkley East and make our way back to Jo’burg totally satisfied!
