Mods, move the thread to where you feel more relevant, but I decided I could possibly get more expert advice here than in the pub, right?

This hugger has done many thousands of kilometers, served me well to keep all the pick-up stuff off the rear brake reservoir and the ABS pump and is now worse for wear. The broken piece is where the s-bracket attaches to the brake clipper brace.

I am not in the mood, financially and patience, to import a new, replacement, so decided I reach out locally and check whether this can be repaired, renewed, copied or even perhaps recovered with whatever.

It is a hard plastic. No idea what type though.

I am in Western Cape, Milnerton area if you can point me to someone who can fix and even strengthen the weak spot?

For my XT1200.
