SOLD****1982 Honda XR500R - R12,000-00, slightly negotiable.
You can jump on and ride, or use it as a very good base for a Project Bike.
The motor starts easily and pulls strong.
In general the bike is in good condition, but if you are particular about Good Looks there is a bit of work to be done to get her back
to "showroom" condition.
My input has been to replace the Clutch, new Air filter element, fork booties, new engine oil, and had the headlight housing(Acerbis) sprayed.
No registrations papers, but I do have a Purchase Agreement from previous owner.
Honesty Section -The Tailpipe is missing the baffle(Edit-Thanks to Derek Graham I have now fitted a Stainless Steel Tailpipe), the rear shock is a bit soft and there is a very small oil leak from front sprocket shaft seal.
