Cardo (scala) released a unit known as the "SmartH" specifically for HJC helmets. It's basically identical to the "Packtalk" in functionality, but the controller and the battery are split up making the controller much more slimline on the side of the helmet.
They then realised that making a unti for only one brand of helmet kinda cuts down your market, and they re-released the "SmartH" as the "Packtalk Slim" (Same functionality as the Packtalk Bold, just slightly shorter range). These 2 units are basically identical. The new Slim just has better voice command options apparently.
The SmartH, even though it's marketed as a communicator for HJC lids, fits on many, many other helmets (doing some research I've heard from guys using them on Arais, Nexx ADV lids, Shoei's etc).

I bought the smartH, it arrived on friday and I installed it (In an Arai TX4) and it works hundreds! You can still connect to other BT comms units (put my old Sena SMH5 into my wife's helmet and connected them no problem). Plus it uses the new DMC (Mesh) technology like the Sena 30K (riders can join and drop off the group without needing to re-pair the whole time).
I reckon it's quite a bargain!
