We are also doing the flower trip in mid September. We will overnight in the Tanqua guest house in the Tankwa National park on our way to Kamieskroon. I am considering going via Wuppertal instead of Calvinia- see Google route attached. Is there not a more direct route to Wuppertal instead of the Google route? We are on 2 GSs and an AT with pillions, but no luggage. We have a VW 4 motion Transporter for our luggage. We are competent experienced riders. What alternative routes are recommended?
