I have the itch - I get it every now and then.

Mostly it goes away but recently it has been taking longer and longer before it lets me go  :p

So I'm just testing the waters to see what I could advertise my Dakar for if I were to let it go or just make me an offer I cannot refuse  ;D

I bought it brand new in June 2007.

It has 96 600 km on the clock - yes I know its high but thats why we have bikes to  :ricky: them

BMW Auto Atlantic serviced it from new to 50000km - from 50000km I took over the servicing and did everything myself from then (full history kept)

Front and rear tyre more or less new - good for another 10 000km+ on both.
Sprockets and chain more or less new - good for another 15 000km+.
Brake pads - good for another 20 000km+ - replaced them not to long ago.
Battery replaced a year ago.

Extras on the bike (from the front):

Orange headlight cover
Fork socks
Progressive fork springs (***)
Touratech low front fender
SW-Motech crash bars
SW-Motech centre stand
Wild@Heart wide footpegs
Touratech adjustable gear shifter (***)
Barkbuster hand guards
Handlebar raisers
Aluminium Case Saver (***)
BMW Tank bag
Van der Linde Exhaust (***)
Touratech rear shock protector
Touratech aluminium chain guard (has a small crack)
DIY soft pannier bag racks

(***) can be return to OEM - would prefer to sell the bike with the OEM parts and sell the (***) extras separately - cannot really sell the OEM stuff after the fact. If the price is right I'll sell the lot.

Standard features:

OEM aluminium bash plate
ABS
Heated grips

The shock was rebuilt by Superfoxi last year and he replaced all the rear suspension bushes, bearings, seals, bolts etc.

If I sell the bike I'll service it and I'll sell it with a roadworthy and I'll throw in a copy of the BMW REPROM etc.
