Urgent(ish) Advise please - Pretoria to Bethlehem Route

Hi Everyone
We must deliver a Suzuki bakkie in Pretoria on Thursday, in Eland Street, looks like the are is "Mooikloof".
Anyway
Thinking of loading a Bike at the back, and come back with it, ........... if not why not, and I have a GREAT excuse for a little Trippie.

Any advise on how to get out of there ASAP, and on to a gravel road, or at the very least a "quiet small" tar road from there and down to the Free State??
NO Highways, I wont even consider it
