This is not specific to these bikes, but since I'm working on them, I'll put it here.
I am busy putting 2 x F650 Dakars' back on the road after they have both been
standing for more than 10 years. They were stored indoors in a dry environment.
I have progressed to the stage where I need to decide on tyres and tubes.
Since they were kept indoors and dry, the tyres have no signs of cracking or dry rot.
I will however replace them as I dont feel they are safe for use.
Do I need to replace the tubes as well? Do they also deteriate with standing?
