With the 1x Magnification it can be used with both eyes open, like a Red Dot Sight, suitable for CQB ranges, Sport Shooting, or bushveld hunting
The 6x magnification makes the longer shots a breeze or if you simply need to “scope” out the target area.
Personally using LX3 1-6x24iR my NEA-14.5 and have easily got hits out to 300m on a humanoid silhouette (I am not to gentle with my gear either)
TacQM is also proud to say that Lynx installed the 3GS reticule at our request as we felt that the reticule that they had at the time, a German N04 Post was not conducive to rapid shooting,
The intensity of the Reticule is easily adjusted for low light/bright light conditions with an ON-OFF setting between each brightness level. No need to rotate the dial all the way round to get to the OFF position.
Used in conjunction with a Weapon Mounted Light the LX3 1-6x24iR will ensure that you can identify your target at night and the illuminated reticule will ensure that you can see your sight.
I find the lowest setting best for night shoots, and the #10 setting for bright sunny days.
TacQM has sold quite a few to customers in South Africa and Zambia where it would be used on rifles for dangerous game. The LX3 1-6x24iR copes easily with the recoil of the big bores.
The reticule is uncomplicated and suitable for fast target acquisition and if you learn how to use it correctly can be used for ranging.
