She did the Kalahari and Baja rallies, so any roadie posing as dual sport bike with a 19" front is out. She liked the KTM350 Enduro, but it is not suitable for what she does. She does not care for too much power. I would almost say that a CRF300L with KTM suspension would do the trick...

She says that there will be a season 8, with big surprises - wonder when she will be riding China! Honda has served her very well. 80K+ km on a CRF300L is not to be sneezed at. Repair work on the bike were all self inflicted, so the 300 did really well. I wonder what bike she will choose next?

Wonder what is the most reliable dirt bike? Dirt bikes are renowned for their high maintenance. I just wonder if something like the CRF450R is more reliable than its stable mates from KTM, GasGas, Husqvarna etc.

My 890R has a paper filter, but with prefilter over the intake for just-in-case.

Cecil Penny fixed one for a client. Client had 1x 890 Rally, and one normal 890R. Reason for excessive cam wear on the Rally with 20K km was aftermarket air filter. The R had a paper filter and was still fine...

Just received stock of CRF250L Acerbis 12.5l fuel tanks. Makes a nice difference in distance between fillups, being able to do 300km on a tank.
