I made this jig to make the legs the same even though this braai might just end up standing and rusting, I just could not tack and bend to get the legs similar. They had to be varicose... and then they anyway pulled skew after I welded over the tack welds 🙈 Close enough, man. Flippit.

I actually did it. I also filmed the process. It might even be funny. Anyway, it was not as easy as I thought and the steel does not want to be welded at all. So definitely not getting more of these tanks. Anyway, here are the photos.

@OomD , how is the fit of that mask? I see Pienaar Bros also sell filters and the insert type is much cheaper than the filters that goes with the 3M mask. Alternative for Chamberlains filters (I assume the same fitment) And these will go with the 3M mask. I probably shouldn't be cheaping...

I was wondering if one could drill into the pipe and then just "sleeve" the hole, but I am obviously not there looking at the problem from the same angle you are. But I think you will make it way better in any case, judging by your previous work.

Maybe a stupid question, but what if you just make a massive hole with a hole saw, big enough to get a socket in and oil out, and then just reinforce the hole with a section of pipe welded on all sides?
