Actually on that note, if this deal I am working on comes through (WHICH IT WILL), I will either have enough money to pay for my car or buy a new bike cash - what do the dogs think I should do?

Now this should be a good argument - better than the endless brand bashing - should I be sensible or ...............  I know what I am going to do, but what do you all think I should?

Everythings cool as long as we remember that KTM really is #1 ;D

 :laughing4: :thumleft:

Second time around do we see you at the bash?

Oh yeah 8)

Oh yeah what, will we see you? 8)

Well the bash is on, I have said it, get to the bash and we sort this brand bash thing out there for good with plenty beers >:D   ;D ;D

Oh yeah means, yes I'll be there.(Might come up on the Tiger to avoid any conflict with the KTM / BMW riders ;D) On the other hand Darren, it leaves me sitting on the fence seeing that I have one of each brand. :P

Oh no! I used to have a 'Triumph Recovery Vehicle' decal on my 1100GS, looks like I'll have to get another one. ;D ;D

What? It's obvious, you buy a bike, the car debt is not important ;)

Hehehehehe...

Let me try and clear it up for you.

You are used to having a car payment.
So continue having the car payment, but have a bike that you didn't have before...

There.

Wow interesting post..  Having only ever read about the KTM's and the BMW's I would agree with what Elmo has said.

A BMW will never do what a KTM can.. Well that is sort of true  :o

But then you buy a BMW because it is better at other things where the KTM falls short.

Sort of TIT for TAT really.. If I was going to do the Dakar race then the KTM would be miles above the BMW ( well the big GS's any way ), but If I wanted to go say the long way around the world or maybe even the long way Down around the world, you just know the BMW is the bike for the job...  I'm not saying that neither bike would be able to do the above, I'm sure they would pushed hard enough and with enough money behind you anything is possible.

But as my old man used to say preparation is everything and you do not take a knife to a gun fight...  In other words the right tool for the right job...

Anyway all this heated debate is over nothing really because we all know the Honda Africa Twin is the best bike out there :o :o ;)

I'll get my coat   :-[

H ;)
If all else fail's, I go and ride my BIKE ....

It wasn't really content as much as the delivery.

But it's now all forgotten about and moved on ...
