He deserves to be crucified, simply cause he looks for kak and stirs pots that don't need stirring. So sorry, does not count.

maybe you have a point - I believe we need more info...

who was the rider? Is he OK? Would he like to take it further? Have we got the WHOLE story? Are we sure the business card person is the one involved?

What I said. But if he is, and if it's the same guy Groenie thinks it is, I say KK needs a bit of "orientation"

I recall something about a woman in the Cape, a small car (I think it was something like a red Uno / Getz / similar), a scooter, and some "keep left, pass right" medicine being imprinted in her mind...........

Does anybody know of the accident that happened on Hans Strydom (Pretoria) @ about 7.45AM this morning?.
Accordingly to a witness a biker stoped when the robot turned orange..the Bmw driver behind him didnt like it at all ,shouting obseneties and blowing his horn at the biker.
When the robot turned green mr Bm sped by the biker and deliberatly stoped in front of the bike .. The biker were not able to avoid the car, hitting it and going down slidding all over the show.
According to the eye witness Mr moneybags himself got out of his car and threw a bussiness card at the biker with the remark..I dont have time for this shit, and took off.

According to the police this is actually a case for the traffic police....who hasnt responded yet.

Maybe this dude should get a little visit from a few dogs?
Any thoughts?

Why is is a case for the traffic police ? , do they want to ticket the BMW driver for speeding ?  ???

Your friend should go to the nearest SAP where the attempt to murder allegedly happened and make a criminal case of attempted murder and assault against this criminal. He could have killed your friend . And if the cops do not want to cooperate , speak to the Station Commander and insist they open a criminal docket.  Normally it is the person who rode into someone else's fault , but not if the driver purposefully slammed on his brakes to cause harm to another person . Then it is attempted murder.

And your friend should be able sue the driver in a civil case for damages to his bike and gear, if any . And if he had serious injuries , he should speak to Ganjora about making a case at the Road Accident Fund.

Rynet, isn't this a case of hit-and-run as well?

I've been in a similar situation (between two cars though) where the driver of the car in front of me just fled the scene. It really damages their case since it is illegal to leave the scene of an accident.

Regardless of who was at fault, the guy in the beemer is at a legal disadvantage.

EDIT : I thought the biker that was hit is Topie's friend . The biker must do the reporting.

Not strickly speaking hit and run as he did identify himself ( if it is his business card ), but he is not allowed to drive away from the scene of an accident ( lesser offence ).

A Business card is not identification. He would have had to shown his drivers license/ID/Passport. I have all manner of business cards that aren't mine XD
