I just found out that Skaaidawg had a terrible crash today. Details are sketchy, Sounds like 3 broken ribs and stiches where he hit the road book!

Sam was Flying today. Sounds like he may be getting a penalty for speeding in a controlled zone!
Seems the Fine was issued today with a 10 min penalty. This means that he will start back a couple of places!

So Sorry for you Sammy! Give it horns, We are all proud of you!

So Sam Sutherland was handed a 10 minute penalty yesterday, and it cost him the lead.
Marc Coma has moved up into the overall lead.
Impressive stuff.

Today's results and the overall results are posted below.

Even more impressive, however, is the vasbyt of the oke with the cracked ribs and the multiple stitches, who started the day with massive penalties, had a long, long day but carried on regardless. Big brass ones, to ride all day having just checked out of hospital.

The competition for last place is now fierce, nogal between two South Africans. I'm not sure what Mr Potgieter did to get that kind of time penalty......

OK boys, spend the day on Thursday chasing the Dessert Challenge. Was great fun in the Tundra with a couple of short cuts through the desert trying to beat the front runners to the fuel stop and the finish. Made the fuel stop in time, but they did beat us to the finish.
What was nice is that the guys were all super relaxed and had no issue chatting to the spectators and just overall being super guys.
Met Taddy some years ago at a race and once again had a chat with him, he was in really nice spirit and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I am sure we will see him in the desert again soon.

Here is Taddy

Had an issue with his bike, apparently no top gear for the entire stage.

Roma on the fly.

At the finish of the race.
Taddy

LJ Sletser, jeez this old man is cool.

And last but certainly not least the man of the moment.
Well done Eugene, you are a legend, Super chuffed that you managed to finish. All the best with the recovery, sure it will take some time.

Next year you guys can arrange a desert bash over here. You cannot believe the pace these guys have. Must be seen to be believed.

Was very pissed that the weather was so bad to start with, next year I will follow the entire thing from start to finish. Work is overrated anyway.

What would a 450 Rally replica sell for? I have an Electric on order to stuff around with but will have to wait for the factory release, could be anything from 6 to 12 months.

Ja look, if your want to race professional get one of those, otherwise any other bike will do just fine. I was lucky and got a 2nd hand one. A new motor is still going to cost $10K  Reckon they are fairly bullet proof so we will see.

Pimp my 990 and remove one plug lead, that way I have 2 motors on one frame, if one is stuffed just swop the plug leads. hahahah.

I recon my 500 exc will have to do for now through.

I'm at the stage now that the old slogan rings true, will have to get a Tshirt for my laaitie.

"I'm allot faster than my dad thinks he was"
