Stayed at Blesfontein farm about 20k's out of Sutherland on the road to Ouberg pass, super nice people and good value. Accommodation is in the old farmhouse and converted stables. Self catering but you can order meals if you want and they serve a really good breakfast for 70 bucks. Farm is situated on the edge of the escarpment with amazing views, lots of game and tame animals. The farmer also has a 10" telescope if you want to do a bit of stargazing.
