Just got a call that my cousin, Klomper on WD, was involved in an accident last night with his bike on the N1.

He passed away on impact.

I have no words. Just thought to let those who knew him know. I don't have any more details than this.

The guy first at the scene says the bike was inbound on N1, but he flew over barrier and ended up on the outbound side. Source of info stopped his bakkie to shield the biker from other vehicles. He was alive for a short while after the accident.
It is said that it was a KTM with CAW plates.very sad indeed.
Also said not sure how it happened,but minimal damage to bike.

Dit is inderdaad baie hartseer nuus. Ek het Henk se AT gekoop begin van 2012. Ek het hom uit die aard van die saak nooit ontmoet in persoon nie, maar baie tyd op die foon spandeer. Ek het ook oor die Paasnaweek vir hom ’n PM gestuur omdat ek onlangs uitgevind het dat hy ’n KTM gekoop het. Ek het nog nie ’n antwoord ontvang nie, want ek het aangeneem hy is dalk weg vir die Paasnaweek.

Al my simpatie en mede leie aan sy hele gesin en familie vir julle verlies.
