yamaha ttr 600
« on: June 11, 2013, 09:47:34 am »
any dogs out there know much about the yamaha TTR 600.
I have been offered one but do not know the bike model.
it is a 2005 model and the seller says it is clean and on the road.

is it a model that was popular in SA ?
is it a parallel to the xt 600 Z or is it something totally different.

thanks for some info if any of the dogs have one or know the bike.

Yamaha was stupid enough never to bring them in.
They brought the 83 TT600's in and then stopped.
By it if it is in good shape. Lekke bikes.

Speak to RCerrie, I think he had one
I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

If they never brought them in I'd be worried about getting parts and spares.

I think it is the same engine as the XT600E so parts should not be a problem.

Looks like standard Yamie motor, so parts should not be a problem.

Yip, looks same enjin as my 600e, but i see some have kickstart too. Looks also like more trail bike orientated. Nice, buy it.  :thumleft:
