Telemark, Norway
« on: December 14, 2007, 12:06:27 pm »
I want to show you a little part of my country. It´s known as a good place for bikers. At least in the summer. I had a little Varadero (125) for this trip.

It´s posted earlier at the V-strom forum, but it´s my post so I give it to you too.

I had a little trip to a great part of Norway, Telemark, this summer. Here are some pics. And forget about the little bice.

The farmers in Rauland makes eggs. This valley is named Drivarbekkdalen.

The lama is imported to Norway. But it fits well.

An old Farm in Telemark, located south of Lognvikvannet.

Lognvik farm.

A wiew from "Luftslottet"  (name of our cottage. It mean castle in the air. It´s a saying. We never believed it would be a reality.).

Nutheim, near  Flatdal.

Those houses of Lognvik farm are a kind of museum. They are rebuilt inside, but it´s forbidden to change them outside. It is a traditional farm from inner Telemark, built in 16-something. Tre grass on the roof is the traditional way of covering the houses.

Nice pics Baron.

A friend of mine got to ride a little Vara125 a while back, he was quite impressed with it.
Great news, my book 'Sniffer' has seen the light of day on Amazon Kindle!

You have to wait some months. It´s winter and the bikes are stowed away. :(

Ice and snow makes the norwegians stay in our houses.
