So who else entered this event??

Jislaaikit, what a race. We basically did the entire trac exluding mordor and a small section of the koppie.
Managed a 3rd place and 7 laps, started my 8th but had to turn around due to cramps 2km into the loop!

Great day and great event!

Well done Tman, that must have been some hard work!!

Was it very hard riding? How long was a lap?

After 3 laps the very technical slow river section kinda broke my spirits every lap as I felt im losing rythm and concentration but gathered myself  on the short breather afterwards.
But I had the lead for lap 4 and from there on chased harder and harder but my pitcrew gave me a full tank of fuel (kak swaar) and a tripper fullll of ice, so went into the pits after 4 laps and then my tripper was emty by the start of lap 6 and cramps sterted half way throug lap 5, Ive never pushed so hard or far as I only started riding 2 years ago and started with racing as a clubbie this year!
Amazed by gym fittnes and a extra bit off saddle time!
But yeah good fun but im parking the bike for 2-3 weeks!
Stroom op!

Well done, you are a man amongst men.... :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

I had to take a group to DeWildt in the morning and just did not have the extra willpower to join the race...we did come to spectate and I am very impressed with the laptimes considering that they had added the koppie in.

I see Ruan Smith came in first, How many laps did he do?

8 IIRC.

He came past me at one stage like I was looking for a pi$$ plek!

Is the Koppie not Mordor? Which one is Husaberg Hill?

Winner and 2nd did 8 laps but i never fitted headlight and cramps were killing me!
I managed 7 on my KTM200
In that 7 laps only rested for about 3min! Cramps started early on lap 5!
Mordor is Husaberg Hill, which they excluded but 80% of the rest of the koppie was included!

Foot note: only recently got the 200, ive had 6 300's and thats my secret to success! The 200 is tops and im still a fat bugger @90kg but you twist the ear and of she goes, hold on tight of jy gan op jou gat beland!
What ive found is that gear selection on the 200 is key but once you've learned to choose gears wisely!
Stroom op!

Ja my RMZ450 is a big fat heavy bitch for WW, but I have still done it.

Mordor, was nearly the death of me, I swore I will never allow anyone to ever make me go there again. You need big brass ones for that
